Like to Knit? Put Your Needles to Good Use ...

Put your needles to good use for those in needs:

For Soldiers: http://www.TheShipsProject.com/Home.htm - They say slippers are what is in most demand along with hats that fit under helmets.

For the Homeless: http://www.WarmUpAmerica.org - Using the yarn remnants from the bottom of your bag, knit seven-inch by nine-inch rectangles, then send them in to be stitched into afghans for those who have lost their homes.

For Premature Babies - http://www.CareWear.org - Sometimes half the weight of full-term newborns, preemies in neonatal units need tiny mittens, bootees and hats.

For Troubled Teens: http://www.BinkyPatrol.org - Every kid deserves a security blanket, be it a binky or bedcover : )

People Helping People . . . Fundraising Network

Are you looking for a way to earn some money for your favorite charity, church, school, scout or troop organization? If that’s the case then you have found just the right place!

Fundraising has just become a whole lot easier! You can view several fundraising opportunities not only by company, but also by state and type – all in one place. You can’t help, but be successful when you can browse for just the right item(s) you want to offer your potential patrons.

We have compiled a number of WAHM sites which offer great fundraisers, but are sometimes overlooked or just not chosen because you didn’t know they existed. Why not help your favorite organization while helping a stay at home mom support her family and realize a dream.
